BUILDING A WATERWISE ECONOMY
In 2024, WaterStart released the Building a WaterWise Economy report, which emphasizes the importance of aligning water incentives with economic development to guide future Nevada policy. WaterStart, along with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the research institute SRI, collaborated with leaders statewide to explore how economic growth intersects with water management. Through these discussions, WaterStart identified critical challenges and opportunities, outlining strategies to help GOED and partners advance in the field of water technology and support emerging water startups.
